About the Event
Emergency Preparedness (E-Prep) is an interactive workshop that looks at the importance of emotional, social, and practical preparedness for emergencies and disasters. It provides a 3-step approach: identifying risks, getting ready/planning, and building a kit. In a disaster or an emergency, things can become hectic, and the emotions and stress that arise may feel overwhelming. Pre-thinking what to expect, planning, having supplies, and a support network in place can help reduce fear and anxiety and allow you to focus on safety and recovery.
